Optimization of water management plans for CSP plants through simulation of water consumption and cost of treatment based on operational data

Considering the importance of water in local communities and development Concentrated Solar Thermal Power (CSP) projects arid regions, footprint analysis finding water-saving solutions towards optimized use raw resources CSP plants are essential. Within this study, we present an integrated simulation tool for a comprehensive including wastewater streams, treatment units, cost treatment. The models compared to set measured consumption data from commercial plant. Furthermore, strategies reduce identified then investigated through detailed alternative management plans. results show that with solutions, can be reduced by 14% while electricity remains same or is even slightly reduced.
